Pregnancy Yoga at Bermondsey Fayre

Students need to be 13 weeks pregnant before attending the classes.

These classes are taught by Alison Fiddler, Yoga Teacher, Midwife and Pregnancy Yoga Teacher Trainer for Birthright. 

We provide all mats/bolsters and any other props but do feel free to bring your own if you prefer.

Class timings are
Wednesdays at 6.30pm 
Class Prices are £14 an individual class and £48 for a block of 4 classes which can be used at your leisure.

Classes are designed specifically for women during pregnancy to support them with the pregnancy and birth. The classes focus on breath together with physical and mental preparation for birth and support through pregnancy. Pregnancy yoga also addresses some challenges during pregnancy and can be a great support to easy the changes in the body.  They are also a wonderful way to meet other mums to be and create a support network.

Pregnancy yoga has many benefits for mum and baby. In addition to all the benefits of hatha yoga practice, research has shown that regular practice of yoga in pregnancy provides extra, specific benefits to mum and baby during pregnancy and beyond:

 Lower stress levels during pregnancy

 Less pregnancy complications

 Shorter duration of labour

 Less pain during labour

 Improved quality of sleep

 Increased confidence for mum
